What are governments doing?

At National level, countries have all agreed to promote and support SDGs and to tailor their policies to reflect the SDGs but few are yet systematically establishing their SDG action plans or implementing them. The international governmental organisations such as OECD (whose members are the richer, more developed countries) are now starting to mobilise action at National levels. The international umbrella member organisations for local government and for cities have also identified actions that can be taken at local government level but few cities are yet organised enough to have adopted such measures.

It is therefore necessary for individuals to write to central and local politicians asking what is happening re SDGs in order to spur them into take action and to deliver on the promises made by the World leaders at the UN.
